About

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they want to, need to, or are expected to do, or by modifying the occupation or the environment to better support their occupational engagement. (WFOT 2012)
Pediatrics
Pediatric occupational therapy helps infants, children, and adolescents perform the activities of daily living that may need to be mastered for the first time or relearned after disease or injury. These activities may include eating, grooming, bathing, and dressing.
As Licensed Occupational Therapist, our goal is to help patients be as productive and independent as possible by increasing their developmental skills, strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
Lymphedema Therapy
LANA CERTIFIED CARE
Manual lymphatic massage helps “re-start” the system of moving lymph through the body and can provide a variety of benefits, including: More efficient healing from illness, injury, or surgery. Supports relaxation and relieves stress. Reduces scar formation by boosting healing responses. Excellent for post-liposuction, body contouring, and weight loss procedures.
Parkinson Specialist/LSVT Certified
LSVT BIG treatment is delivered one-on-one and is tailored to each person’s own abilities and goals so that they work towards what's meaningful to them.
Its holistic approach addresses not only movement issues but also takes into account non-motor symptoms including emotional changes and cognitive changes.

Clinicians push thin solid needles through the skin into trigger points. The needles are used to stimulate the tissue, not to inject medication.

Pelvic floor therapy is a treatment to help address dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscles. The type of therapy prescribed will depend upon the symptoms you’re experiencing. Some will require relaxing and lengthening of the muscles, while others may require strengthening the muscles.
